Sol Max, a Founder of LTX, Retires

After more than 40 years of service to the company Sol Max has decided to retire at the young age of 81. As one of LTX’s original founders, through the years Sol has made innumerable contributions to both the company and our industry. Recognized throughout our industry as one of its brightest minds Sol not only was innovative in his ability to come up with groundbreaking  solutions to really challenging test engineering  problems, he also was a teacher and mentor to so many engineers who have had the honor and pleasure to work with him. The people that have learned so much from Sol will in fact be his most important legacy.

On December 15 we held a celebration of Sol’s career in the Norwood cafeteria. Dave Tacelli, president and ceo of Xcerra made a few comments reflecting on Sol’s career and his key role in the company’s success. Dave also wished him a long and happy retirement but also warned him that just because he is retired he still needs to pick up the phone when someone needs some engineering help! In true Sol fashion he said, “of course, as long as my wife doesn’t keep me from answering the phone”.

The entire Xcerra family wishes Sol the best in his well deserved retirement.
